Need to style Dropdown chooser

I am using dropdown chooser i need to use Jquery with it to style it to become like this photo
the left part is the part before you click on dropdown ,,, the right is after you click it
Sure i have the Jquery example to do it but i can’t implement it in the dropdown chooser
Any help appreciate
