    Hello
Im in need of a plugin that lets me look up a term-word that is in a comment. I would like that the results of the search would be the comment(s) themselves.
example: search ¨apple¨ will bring the results:
    1. (comment)word word word apple word word word
    2. (comment)word apple word word
    3…
As of now i have not been able to achieve this with your or any other plugin, wordpress says they are working on it. By any chance you know how can i achieve this, anyone that does, any other plugin that could help me.. or if you could even develope a plugin that could do this, please let me know. I will reward scumptiously =) thank you

  • Hi,
First, I apologize for my late answer. I didn’t see your question until now. Must have missed it because this plugin hasn’t got a question for a long time, and I just found the subscription link for support topics! Didn’t know about it before!

Now for your question, I added a comment “word word apple word word” to post in my localhost installation, and searched for “apple” from Jetpack Omnisearch page, and that comment was the first in the results!

    Did I miss something?

    Hi Anas
Thank you for your reply. Well i think is different for me. when i conduct a search in webpage elcosito.com (theme twenty thirteen) the results will always be the comments (which is good).
Therefore if i look for “toyota” the results should be: the comments with the word “toyota” in it.
Right now, that is not happening. I look up the word “toyota” and the result is:
the page, were the comments with the word “toyota” are. in other words, the page, with the list of all comments (wether they have the word “toyota” in them or not), and the word toyota” highlighted on the comments it appears.
wordpress said they do not have a plugin that does what i need, any help is grealty apreciated

    From Jetpack Omnisearch support page:

Please note that the Search field on the WordPress Admin Bar will only Omnisearch from the back-end of your site, as the front-end already has a search field there to perform a site search natively, and we didn’t want to change that for you.

In other words, your visitors cannot use omnisearch.
I don’t know of another plugin that does such thing.
