Need to reduce the load time of edit profile

I have a couple of following questions:

1. I have a big form on the edit profile page with nearly 150 fields. The main problem is the load time. It’s taking too much time to load the page. Also, sometimes it fails to load. So, could you please let me know if there is any way to reduce the page load time? Or can we split the form into multiple steps with ajax?

2. How can I add the shorting feature for photos and videos in the add/edit profile?
