Need to install a theme with an older WP version

  • Hi, I purchased a theme from envatomarket, the issue is that it is compatible with older versions of WP: WordPress 4.4, WordPress 4.3.1, WordPress 4.3
    I installed 4.3 but automatically it upgraded to 4.4.4 so I cant get my theme working.

    Is tehre a way to keep the older version? Or can help me with the steps to install the theme? I tryed trough WP and it send me an error, no error showd, just says:

    “Are you sure you want to do this?

    Please try again.”

    I installed the theme trough File Manager and it works, but when I try to activate the them, my site crashs.

  • Its not a good idea to run andere old version WordPress. Every new version closes one or more security issues.
    If Envatomarket sold you an outdated theme, a theme not compatible with the correct WP version, you must complain to them about it.
