• From what I have seen searching around the forums, this can’t be done, but I’ll ask anyway, in case somebody knows something I don’t. (Highly likely!) One of the top level menu items on the site I’m referring to is IFS/Ajde Sheet Music; this leads to a table of all of the music that the band ever chooses from to play. I would like six band members each to have his or her own password to access the table. (At this moment the page is “password protected,” so there is one password that everyone would share).

Another thought I had was to give each person a subscriber account (easy to do), and make this page visible only to those subscribers (not so obvious to me how I would do that.)

Does anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions, or even for a definitive “Nope, forget about it”!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Using the “members” plugin, you can restrict pages to particular users. If you want to restrict viewing of the rows of a table (or parts of a page) by user, you’re probably going to have to custom code that.

Thanks for such a quick reply, Steve, very helpful, and I’ll have a look at that plugin. I don’t need to restrict viewing of particular rows of a table, or part of a page… but it gets me thinking about a future possibility, so that’s a bonus. Thanks very much again. This is a great community.
