Need to escape wordpress and switch to weebly!!

  • So there is no live chat with wordpress nor a number to call for support. a friend of mine bought a domain name at name cheap.com and had a website on wordpress. I have built a new website for her, weekly can’t switch it from their side, name cheap say it has nothing to do with them and wordpress doesn’t say anything because even with numerous knocks…nobodys home.

    I need my domain pointed elsewhere, apparently my Aname IP address will need be changed??? I can’t find these DNS settings so unfortunately I can’t do it myself. What do I do now – I need this sorted out TODAY!!

    What is your domain and who is currently the DNS registrar for it? No one here can help you with your registration but if you are using WordPress.COM (the .COM is important) then you may want to use their forums.

    This place is .ORG and is separate and not connected to .COM at all. This article may help you understand that.

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you are using WordPress.COM as a registrar then that https://en.support.wordpress.com/ link is your best option, not here.

    If you are using something else then letting us know will let us help you get to the right folks for support.
