Need to Edit Header Graphic

  • Hey Folks! Need some help. I had a designer working on my site however she had to stop the project due to some personal circumstances. Now, I am left with an unfinished site. She did my header and I want to revise the text. I went to the General Setting for Title/Tagline but what is in those fields does not match what is currently on the header.

    I assumed then it was an image she created and uploaded. However, I can’t find it in my image library. So, I am baffled! I want to update the text and I want to keep the color that she created but no idea what color code it is assigned.

    Any help on how I can update this would be GREATLY appreciated!! I am not sure but it looks like it is the Flair4 Theme (?).

    Hi,

    My guess would be that the header text has been hard-coded into the header.php template file. That would explain why it is not changing when you change it in the Settings menu.

    If you go to Appearance -> Editor and look for header.php on the right hand site you might be able to find a snippet of code like this:

    <div class="art-object622831433-text">Dana Zarcone Marketing</div>

    Changing the text would change the header on your website.

    But that’s only a guess as it is hard to tell since it looks like you are using a custom theme.

    To create a slideshow you could use a plugin such as MeteorSlides
