Need to edit custom function in child theme's functions.php

with this function:

I changed it from this:

if (is_home() || is_front_page()) {

to this

if (is_home() || is_front_page() || is_page(18)) {

and it works! thanks!

Though, is there a way to use body classes instead of page names, page slugs, or page IDs?

For instance
if (is_home() || is_front_page() || is_page(page-parent)) {

does “page-parent” referring to a body class?

yes. “page-parent” is the body class.

i’m not completely sure of what i’m looking at in the link you sent me but i dont see anything about classes there. just page names and slugs.

so i guess that means that I can’t do classes then?…

nope, the doc i linked doesn’t have anything to do with classes

afaik, you can’t check a class… the post doesn’t have this info into itself, this is assigned in the templates (single.php, page.php, etc..)

if i remember well, the DocTemplate here does some tricks with body class, jquery and css
