Need to disable the stickly/fixed background header image

Hi,

I need the background header image but I don’t want it scrolling with the entire page when i scroll down. I just want it to stick to the top like on a normal site.
I tried a few things but its not working like I want. My site has white background all through so I want everything to be white with no grayish or opacity in the header area when scrolling.

Also with regard to slider. I tried to use a few sliders like the meta slider but not sure why its not displaying correctly on the site in FULL size. It seems a little smaller when it shows on the site, and its not well aligned with the background image.

I would like a slider that actually looks as wide as the background image.
