    Hi,’
I have a possible conflict between Custom Post Type IE and another plugin that is necessary for a new service we are developing, the Memberships plugin for WooCommerce from SkyVerge.
Content is not restricted the way it should through Memberships and we put up a staging environment to deactivate all plugins for testing. However, with this plugin deactiveted, the content won’t be displayed. It is the only plugin that can’t be tested for possible conflicts so we really have to turn it off someway to be able to continue the troubleshooting and still be able to see the content without other plugins activated or at least substituted with another one for testing porpuses.
Did you understand my problem? Do you have any solution for this?
I have not developed the website myself and my knowledge in website development is limited.

    Best regards,
    Torbj?rn Sandblad

Quick question. Is it a case of content from everything but post types registered with our plugin is properly limited, but content from our plugin is not?

My initial hunch is that the Membership plugin is perhaps not aware of the post types at the points needed somehow. Otherwise I can’t really say what may be the source of potential conflict for this since all we really do is get the post types and taxonomies registered for you. Everything else from us is pretty well contained to our admin pages, and that shouldn’t be affecting the frontend.

    Hi,
Sorry a late answer, No, no changes so far.
I can’t give you a good answer on this one. First I am not a developer and haven’t used the plugin myself. The problem is that I can’t see a clear pattern for the problems. Some content are displayed the way it should and other not in the same post type.
I haven’t worked with the plugin, but I think the post types are displyed wíth Advanced Custom Fields PRO.
I can’t say that Custom Post Type UI causes the problem/conflict, only that I can’t turn it off to test IF it does, since all pages becomes blank. Therefore, the support for the Membership plugin won’t help me out. And something isn’t working on the website I am responsible for.

The pages becoming blank sounds like a PHP error occurring on the frontend. Deactivating CPTUI shouldn’t have an effect like that, that I can think of, since 95% of its job is in the WP admin only.

Wish I had a better answer for you.
