    Hello to all. And to Rene, thank you very much for taking your time to create and maintain this plugin.

    I have a basic question that I cannot find an answer for in the documentation:

    Do I need to create a new Staging each time, or is the staging folder updated as I add to my site?

    I ask this because my first Staging process is taking quite a long time to copy files. I have a lot of images and I assume that is why. So will I have to create a new staging tomorrow, for example, just to test another plugin update? If so, is there a better way than this that I’m missing?

    Thank you again.
    Domenick

    So which site are you going to be working on your live site or your staging site?

    Hi Luke. Thanks for the reply.

    I intend to test plugin updates on the staging site. I also intend to test the look of new widget configurations on the staging site. If those changes are acceptable and without error, then I’ll make the same changes on my live site.

    Your reply has forced me to think and realize that as long as I make the same changes to the Staging site as I do the Live site, then they will/should operate the same way. Correct? So I will not need to generate a new staging site for every minor test that I do.

    Am I on the right path, there?

    @troutbitten

    Your correct, you use your staging site for testing plugin updates and testing out changes before those changes are made on the live site.

    Thank you, Luke.

    So the staging folder is not synced with my live site folder, right? It only changes when I change it?

    @troutbitten

    Yep correct.
