Need to create a simple members area on website for pricing information

  • I have been tasked with creating a simple member area that we have some customers sign up using their email address etc so that they can have access to price lists, but a lot of plug-ins that I have looked at are more based around CRMs or a paywall type system, but literally all I want is a system where they can sign up/sign in for an account and then login, to then access a few pages with some links to information. No paying for a membership or anything.

    Any ideas?

    WordPress has user registration/login built in. No plugin needed. WordPress also has private pages feature (accessible by logged-in users only) built. The two features should give you the bare bones of what you need. You may add a plugin (or custom code) to tweak the experience a little bit: eg to redirect customers to the private page with the products upon login, rather than to the standard WordPress dashboard.
