Need to close bookings over a period of time

    So my client is going away in August and She needs to be able to stop anyone from booking over the period she is away. I’ve looked at the documentation and it sounds like this should be possible, but I do not see the option in the settings menu.

    I am using the free plugin, so if I need to upgrade to pro please let me know

    Hi,

    it is not possible to disable bookings for a certain time, but you could add a notice to inform guests that responses will take time.

    If my client wants to close bookings for her property over a certain period – for example for decorating – she simply makes a dummy booking of her own for that period.

    The other thing you can do of course is to have an automated reply to any booking enquiry to say that all bookings must be considered provisional during the period until the client returns and can reply.
