I had someone set this up for me a long time ago and I have played with it a little. I would like to really start using it more this year. I like most everything about it but the Blog posts are… NOT WHAT I WANT.

the “featured image” is HUGE and not what I want. I would like more of a grid style if possible? or at a minimum… smaller pictures for the featured image with each post. I do like the right menu bar.

is there something I can do within Sparkling?

Is there a grid option for smaller photos and blog articles to choose from when visiting the page? or would I need another theme…and how difficult would it be to change themes?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’ve used the Sparkling theme several times and it’s a good one – but I can’t remember all of it’s Customizations off the top of my head. Try looking under Appearance > Customize to see what you can change. You can probably turn the Featured Images on or off, but resizing them would be a more extensive trick…

Likewise I doubt it has a built-in “Grid” option, but you can add that with a plugin like one of these:

    Post Grid

    WP Ultimate Post Grid

    Hello

First of all sorry for the delay, I missed your ticket ??
@maryannmease unfortunately such changes will require modification of the theme core functions because there is no such option in the theme by default and you have to use plugins as @markcorder does or you may research other premium plugins in the web for more functionality, you can also use page builders like Beaver or Elementor, they comes with build in posts archive creators
