Unless I’ve missed it, there seems to be no way to exclude files?

I keep getting email notices about plugins when their “readme.txt” changes …. afaik, a .txt file isn’t dangerous, even if it contains malicious code. I’d like to be able to ignore any notice/alert/warning about altered readme.txt files (among others). It’d be great to just have an exclusions textarea where single file names, folder paths, and/or wildcards can be added, and any matches will not cause warnings/alerts/notices. Or customized notices, i.e. it may show in (non-scary way, ex: not in bright, bold red) an area of changes recognized, but no email sent for it, etc.

We already have this. Please see the option labeled:

“Exclude files from scan that match these wildcard patterns. Comma separated.”

We’re also introducing a fix in the next version (which we’ve already coded and are currently testing) that will reduce those readme.txt false positives and will radically reduce all other false positives.

How do we exclude entire directories?

    We have a directory with 800 Gb’s.

We’ve tried the exclusion feature but can’t get it to work.
