Firstly, let me highlight that this plugin stands out as one of the most user-friendly and easy to se for internal links! I have two questions:

    1) HOW can I incorporate the (*) symbol before each LINK? In other words, how can I format it like this: *Link?

    2) In the event someone clicks the URL, will it gather any private information about the person who clicked the link? I need to ascertain this due to legal considerations.

    Hi jenomal,

the plugin will not rewrite your text. It will only set links. But you can simply add the *-symbol within your text and then e.g. use partical replacement within the configuration.

And no, no personal data will be tracked.

what do you mean by e.g. use partical replacement within the configuration. can you be more clear what i should do exactly?

At the end of each “Add new link” you’ll find this setting:

Partial replacement:?Allow partial replacement of words. (e.g. success in successful)

“Partial replacement:?Allow partial replacement of words. (e.g. success in successful)” This setting has only added more links to other words but has not added a * symbol before the links. I need the * to be placed before each text to mark it as an affiliate.

One more question: If I set the links limitation to 5, will this apply to the entire site/blogs, or will the limitation of links be set for each page or each blog?

As mentioned before, unfortunately the plugin will not rewrite any text, it only sets links to existing text.

The limitation will be set for each page.
