Need to add more Keywords in Post Categories

    Hi，

    I need to add 3-5 keywords in Post Categories, please advise how to achieve this.

    I read this post:https://rankmath.com/kb/focus-keywords-in-categories/, it says “You can only edit the title and the meta description so it doesn’t make much sense to optimize such a short piece of content for more than 1 focus keyword”. We use Elementor to build Post Categories, we add a lot of content to do SEO! We need more keywords.

    What’s more, the biggest search engine is BAIDU in China, it requires us to print 3-5 keywords into keyword meat, good for SEO.

    please advise how to add 3-5 keywords in Post Categories.

    Thank you for contacting support.

    As was mentioned in the article you shared, with our plugin there’s no way to add more than 1 focus keyword in the categories for the exact reasons explained in the URL you shared.

    Having said that, please note that the fact that you can’t add more than one focus keyword doesn’t mean those pages cannot be optimized for more than one keyword.

    If the content on those category pages is optimized for multiple keywords those pages could potentially rank for them as the focus keyword and the Content Analysis Tests are for your reference only and not a directive to Search Engines of what keywords you would like your pages to rank.

    Hi,

    We note that the focus keyword and the Content Analysis Tests are for reference only for google, but we need to add more 3-5 focus keywords to do BAIDU search engine SEO in China.

    As was mentioned in the article, the product Categories can’t add more than one keyword too, but actually, NOW the product Categories can many keywords as we want. I think you have a way to add more keywords in post Categories, please share with us.

    We don’t support adding more than one focus keyword for product categories. Can you please share a screenshot of where you are able to add more than one focus keyword in your product categories? You can use a tool like https://imgbb.com/ to share the screenshots.

    And there is no way to increase the limit for product categories or post categories. You will have to optimize the content of your category pages without the help of the content analysis for the rest of the keywords.

    Importantly, please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

    At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

    Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.
