Need to add Events Calendar to footer

You could use the Events List Widget that comes packaged with the core version of The Events Calendar.

I added some test events and added the widget to my footer and it looks like this – are there any fixes for this besides doing some custom coding?

I would also like to add recent events in other places than the main calendar. The event list widget should be fine for me, but… i just can’t find it !

When I expand the appearance panel in the wordpress dashboard, there is no “widget” item.
What’s wrong?

Edit :
Apparently, when i try to go to mywebsite/wp-admin/widgets.php, there is an announcement that my theme does not allow widgets. Therefor I can’t add them to a sidebar.
I use elementor with the Hello theme.

Is there any way around it?
