Need to Add Additional TAX for Shipping

thank you for your question. To apply a tax to a shipping cost you should use Woocomerce’s built-in mechanism.

You can choose the tax rate for shipping in Woocommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax options. Make sure to check “Shipping” checkbox in a settings table for chosen tax rate.

Thank you for reaching out. Our plugin is specifically designed to only offer shipping calculations based on customized rules.

The default tax settings are already built-in into WooCommerce. You can read more about them here:

And if you require more detailed features for tax calculations, there are plenty of 3rd party plugins offering it based on the type of your products and available regions.

I tried the method which you said already

Now in addition to that, we need to add one more additional Tax for the shipping items

so already based on weight we are charging the shipping charge now in addition to that we need to add tax for the shipping charges items also

for ex: the shipping charge is Rs.60 for less than 500kg order items so for the Rs: 60 we need to add additional 18%

Rs. 60 + 18% (Rs.10.8) = Total Rs. 70.80 likewise It has to come.

Also, I need to display that as Shipping Tax on the site also after the shipping charges I need to mention Shipping tax also on the site and the invoice in both areas.

Any suggestion on this will be most welcome to solve this issue.

Also, any other plugin suggestions which you mentioned can you say the plugin names will try those

The tax settings of your store are out of scope of our support. What we can help with is the functionality of our Flexible Shipping plugin.

In short – you decide whether the shipping fee is already taxed or not. Specifically, you can set the Shipping Tax in WooCoommerce settings:
