Need some updated waitlist button functionality

Hello,

I have customers trying to add items to the waitlist that are still in stock because we don’t have the quantities they need when they visit our store. Currently, the plugin allows you to go through the motions of joining the waitlist no matter whether or not the item is in stock. This confuses customers into thinking that they are adding items to their waitlist, but we receive no indication on the back end that they are doing so. Please implement 1 (or both) of the following changes:

1. Allow a customer to join the waitlist even if we have an item in stock. We sell dishes, and sometimes a customer wants to order 8 of an item, such as a dinner plate, and we only have 4 in stock. It would be great to be able to add those 8 they’re looking for so we can be alerted in the studio to manufacture more.

2. Make the button unusable if the item is currently in stock. This is the less ideal of the two options, but it would at least prevent people from trying to join the waitlist on an item that we have in stock.
