YOu have an interesting issue because the problem is an mu plugin, which you cannot disable (MU = Must Use). If you’ve installed it yourself, then you can remove it, but if not, contact tech support for your host.

Your a genius… Godaddy couldn’t even help when i called them.. lol the plugin was internal so i just ftp and deleted it.. I did save a back up just in case i run into issues later … your awesome .. Ive been on 5 different forums.. I should have came here first.. I know butter now..lol

hi, poetrybattles! How did you delete mu plugin through ftp? I have the same problem. Would you please take me through steps starting with in what folder this plugin is located?

oh, and my message says this:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for WPaaS\Log\Components\User::callback_wp_login() in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas05_data01/78/2372478/html/wp-content/mu-plugins/gd-system-plugin/includes/log/components/class-user.php on line 206

sorry i havent been paying attention.. go to wp-content – plugins and gd-system plugin folder.. there is a php file there i just deleted it .. save the whole folder to your desktop… then trying deleting things of of the folder as well until it starts to work.. thats what i did..

Thanks, poetrybattles. I’ve followed your advice and discovered some bizarre thing: I deleted the file gd-system-plugin.php from the mu-plugins folder, that corrected the error right away, BUT in a few hours, error returned because the deleted previously file miraculously appeared in the same folder again!

Then, I tried to move this php file out of the mu-plugins folder to a different directory. And again everything was perfect after that but in an hour, this file again was somehow regenerated in the mu-plugins folder, and error returned.

Does anyone know what’s going on here?? Is it actually possible to kill this file? How come it’s coming back to the folder it was deleted from?

“mu” stands for “Must Use”. Your host probably has a script that checks to see if the file is gone and, if so, replaces it. Contact GoDaddy support.
