Need some help… working on single post but not homepage

This probably is only happening to my theme but was hoping you might be able to advise me on this my website https://www.1stpopmusic.com uses this plug-in and currently it is working on the single posts but when I add – <?php the_views();?> to the homepage it’s not displaying the views…
Hope you can advise on what I may be doing or what code may be need to display on the front homepage possibly…
