Need sitemap.xml to show all pages and/or post, not separate xml files

    Hi there,

    This is really helpful plugin, just plug and play without any settings( as of version 3.9.2).

    I recently updated to latest plugin. Before it was showing all pages I have at /sitemap.xml, however now it is showing different xml files, so not actual pages as I have submitted sitemap.xml to google to index my pages.

    Is there any way in the latest update so that sitemap.xml will show all pages and/or posts and then you can go to url like sitemap-post.xml or sitemap-page.xml for individual sitemap for post and pages respectively?

    I am going back to old version for now.

  • Google will recognize the new sitemap.xml (as you submitted) as an index and automatically crawl through to all the sitemaps included in it. There is no need to worry or submit the new sitemaps separately or change anything else. You will see this reflected in your Webmaster Tools account as soon as Google revisited your sitemap. If you’re impatient, just send the same sitemap.xml URL again to see the result.

    It’s all within the rules of the sitemap game ??
