Need Revised Footer for Iconic One Theme

    Hi,
    I’m new to using WordPress and I’m creating a website in the Iconic One theme. I’ve found that the set footer in Iconic One doesn’t work for me. The footer only allows text and not links. Also, the footer only sets text in the far left bottom and far right bottom and I need to add a hyperlinked image in the middle of the footer!
    Iconic One supports child themes and custom.css. Do I need to create a child theme to create an alternate footer?
    Also, can anyone recommend an alternate theme that would have a set footer for the content I need to set up in the footer. I need a 3-column footer that allows hypertexted image in middle, and links. I appreciate any tips and/or guidance on this!
