• Hello,

Im developing a new theme for my client with the gutenberg editor but I can’t get my head around the bad UI/UX of gutenberg. I want to make the following website:

    https://entered.devtof2.nl/gut1.png
    https://entered.devtof2.nl/gut2.png

I know how gutenberg works and how custom blocks / acf blocks work. (made a few gutenberg based sites) But how can I develope this so the client doesn’t get a random pile of shitty forms in gutenberg editor? It never gets to be userfriendly ??

In the classic editor I just made custom meta boxes and created the theme. Now everything needs to be in gutenberg and that makes it hard to create something usable. Don’t get me wrong I can make it… but it always ends up like a UX/UI hell for the client.

Any tips on how to make something like this workable in gutenberg?

No it helps but it issnt resolved. Im searching for a website or something that makes the ux/ui of gutenberg good. Need some ground rules or something.

Gutenberg issnt made for websites. its purely made for blogging and WP expects us to adapt that system to make a fully website..
