Conditional logic doesn’t work in relation to image selection field. Wherever there is image selection (dropdown) , you can’t create condtional login for it anymore. That was possible before but now it’s gone again.

Any idea why?

I would like to implement a logic where, if a donation amount is 100 or more, it becomes mandatory for users to provide their first and last name. If the donation amount is less than 100, this information or any information should not be required.
Could you please advise me on how to achieve this functionality? Is there a specific way to set this up within your plugin or any hooks I should consider?
I’ve already contact the Flexible Custom Fields support plugin too but nothing yet.

Currently, the only conditions available are to show fields. Is there a way to create a custom calculation based on a value? For instance, I am creating a pricing calculator. I would like to create a field that has a different calculation based on another field. So, if the user has less than 100 employees, the formula would be employees * X. If they have between 200-350 employees, the calculation would be employees * Y. If they have between 350-500 employees, the calculation would be employees * z.

I have gotten around this by creating a field for each price point and another field for each calculation. Then I have a dynamic field that uses dependencies to only shows the fields based on the number of users. However, this requires a lot of fields, and it makes it impossible to sum up multiple fields. For instance, a base price, plus the cost of employees.

Please can you help me to get the setting right for this?

What I’ve done: I’ve set up a multi-step checkout process: first, the billing information, then the participant details.

Here’s what I want: For each participant, I’d like to be asked for additional participant information IF I’m purchasing for multiple participants. If not, a simple “Shipping address = Billing address?” option would suffice. A maximum of 12 participants per course can be purchased. But if, for example, I’m buying for 5 participants, I need something like 5 checkboxes with the text “Add additional participant details” that, when clicked, open text fields for address details, etc.

Important: Only as many checkboxes should appear as the number of participants purchased – for the customer experience.

Multiple different courses can also be purchased. This means that I have to set up this custom flow for each individual course, which includes variables that regulate if I buy for 12 participants, that 12 checkboxes for address details appear, and 12 address detail boxes.

To clarify: I would now set it up like this… (which is very cumbersome):

• Headline: This carries the course name and is only displayed if the said course is in the cart.
• Checkbox: “Shipping address = Billing address?” ONLY if there is only one course in the cart. OTHERWISE “Add participant details” as a checkbox.
• Text fields appear WHEN “Add participant details” is clicked. -> Text fields include address details, such as name, address, email, etc.
• Below that: Checkbox “Add another participant” and the game starts again… WHEN clicked, the boxes for the address details open. To ensure that there are only as many “Add another participant” as participants ordered, I apply the following:

Cart contains < product < equals < Course name
AND
Cart contains < number of items < greater than 1

Then the address detail fields follow.

To execute this for the maximum number of purchasable participants, I have to repeat the formula mentioned above each time. The only thing that would change is the “greater than 1”
It would then be “greater than 2” – “greater than 3” – “greater than 4” … … … “greater than 11”
And I have to do this 12 times for EACH COURSE?
Please tell me there’s a solution via HTML or something similar.

In the order of my conditions, the calculations are as follows:

1. Calculating ‘Amount 1-4’ by [Kilometer 1]*0,21
2. Calculating hidden field ‘Total KM costs’ by [Amount 1]+[Amount 2]+[Amount 3]+[Amount 4]
3. Calculating hidden field ‘total other costs’ by [Amount in Euro 1]+[Amount in Euro 2]+[Amount in Euro 3]+[Amount in Euro 4]
4. Calculating hidden field ‘total all’ by [Total km costs]+[Total other costs]

Calculation 1 and 2 work, however 3 shows the formula instead of the result. Therefore 4 shows the calculated total of KM costs, plus the formula of 3.

1. Hidden fields do not work right. Hidden fields have so many uses. They are like variables that you can set so that you do not have to change them again everywhere in the form. For example, if we made an intake form with Forminator, we could just duplicate it and change the value of the hidden field that we stored the company name in to avoid changing it everywhere in the form. You cannot do this with Fluent Forms (free or pro). After extensive attempts, we have to conclude that hidden fields in Fluent Forms cannot be used in the form at all, not in calculations or anything. They are pretty much broken.
2. That leads us to the documentation. It is pretty bad. The developers clearly know how to code. The new features they have been adding are part of why we’re trying to switch. Nonetheless, the English often does not make sense, and the documentation rarely includes examples. For example, nowhere in the documentation does it say how to get the value from the first name field to do something as basic as address the person by name in subsequent pages of the form. I had to go back and forth between saving a form placing it on a page and inspecting that page to find the input name to use (names[first_name]) and then editing the form. Frustrating!
3. Forces the Google reCAPTCHA icon to be on the WHOLE PAGE (you cannot close it or even scroll past it), like an unauthorized, unpaid ad for Google!!! Awful! Fluent Forms has no option to just place it somewhere inline in the form like Forminator. Fluent Forms has no respect for its customers’ aesthetic and the presentation of their forms. That alone is unacceptable.
4. There is no option to skip pages conditionally! Google Forms has this ability for free! With Google Forms you can do far more advanced logic than with Fluent Forms by setting up a question to lead someone to a specific section of the form. At the very least, I expected Fluent Forms Pro to have a way to make steps/pages of multi-step forms conditional. The work arounds for this are ridiculously redundant.

All that is to request the following:

1. Please immediately fix the hidden fields bug so that it can be used as {dynamic.hidden} throughout forms. This is critical.
2. Please put more examples in your documentation and tutorials. You all make flashy videos, but the videos avoid most of the complexity to seem simpler than real cases are.
3. Please immediately stop placing the Google reCAPTCHA branding on every webpage with a Fluent Form! There should be an option to place it in one place on the form and not all over.
4. Please give form steps conditional functionality.
