• Hi, does somebody know a plug-in that generates a Personal Diary for each Customer if logged=in in WP-admin Dashboard?
So only logged-in customers can view/edit/delete there diary.
Have several days spend for finding something like this. But with no result.

Hope there is someone of you who can help me with this.

    Regards,
    Ronald

  • Hi Ronald,

Finding the perfect plugin, the one that does exactly what you need it to do — and hopefully not too much of what you don’t need it to do (read overly bloated) — can be a very tall order.

That said, I will not be surprised if someone comes along and points you in the direction of just what you need. BUT, if this fails to happen, then I just wanted to let you know all is not lost. Because there are folks out their who build custom WordPress plugins. Tailor-made to your situation. Thus, now you have two things you can look for. Off the shelf plugins and custom ones. ??

    Good hunting!

P.S., I Googled around a bit and did come across this plugin that states:

DiaryPress is a plugin designed to allow your blog to operate like a private diary. It will ask you to login in order to access the content.

NOTE: I have never used this plugin, and it only has 2.5 out of 5 stars. So, this is most certainly NOT an endorsement of any kind. That is, try it at your own risk — preferably on a dedicated TEST site! Here’s a handy link on how to setup a WordPress test site:

    Hope something here helps!

Randy thanks. There are some diaries but they are open for everybody or open for everybody if logged-in. Not for a certain user.
I agree that I have to start a little project to rewrite a plugin.

It would not be a great project:
a logged in user can sequential add text per date/time
only the user with the right userid can do this
in his own admin environment he can look into his diary top-down
add a new records + automatically date/time registration.

    thats it.
