    Hi,

I really like your plugin as a way to remove the Dashboard.

I have a site where a user can add a custom post type entry at:

    /wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=home

This link would show in the Dashboard under Homes > Add new.

Since I am hding the dashboard, I had put this link in the Toolbar and also in a button in a page, so that the user can create a new listing.

However, it seems the plugin is also redirecting this link to the redirect URL as set in Settings.

So the user cannot create a new listing.

Is there any way to solve this?

    Thanks

  • There isn’t currently a clean way to do this. Some other have asked about this kind of capability in the past as well. The current plan is to implement a filter in the next release that allows modifying the page whitelist discussed in your other forum thread.

    Thanks for explaining.

Do you have an idea as to when this feature / release will be available?

I don’t have a roadmap, been pretty busy with WordPress core docs. I’m thinking probably before the end of the year. It’s been quite a while since I updated it.

Thanks Drew I appreciate you being candid about your schedule for the dev of the plugin.

I will code my own for now, and I look forward to using your plugin in the future.
