need of ultimate web scrapper

    hi,
    I am just wondering why would this plugin require a vendor library of ultimate-web-scraper which also include websockets.
    I am not 100% sure about this. can I request plugin author to give some detail. would appreciate a repsonse.

    UWS is used for parsing the page HTML for headings and excluding sections of content by selectors. It was decided to use this library instead of using DOMDocument or other libraries that require PHP versions greater than the WordPress minimum supported version of 5.6.20. This library just so happens to support remoting fetching and page rendering. The next update of ezTOC will remove parts of the library that are not strictly required.
