Need multiple PayPal carts
-
Hi all,
I’ve been searching my brains off for a solution to this all day. Coming up very short.
I am part of a website that sells high end audio equipment. There are three vendors, and we each have a specific single product that we specialize in. Each product has variations, and the variations dictate the price.
We have been trying to come up with a cart system to help convert views into sales. As a test, I added a Buy Now button to my product page, which has the least number of variations. The result was better than expected.
What I had originally planned on doing was use PayPal’s Buy Now button system to create a very very simple, quick, no frills, effective way to shop on our site. A cart doesn’t make sense because each vendor needs to handle their product orders separately.
The problem is (and this is the only problem) PayPal’s buy now button methods do not allow for more than one set of variations. So that means no matrix pricing. Which is just totally unacceptable for the products we sell.
Does anyone have any suggestions? We’re totally lost here. Every time we ask this question people say things like “Use woocommerce.” Woocommerce as far as I know doesn’t actually solve this problem. We just want a form on each section of the site that calculates final total and passes it to PayPal’s buy now feature with our unique paypal emails.
Thanks,
Luke
