Need membership plugin with customizable fields

  • I need to develop a basic WordPress site with 2 levels of membership. The membership level depends on the member’s zipcode, which I want them to enter when they first signup.

    So I need the sign-up form to be customizable to add the zip field, and I need to use the contents of that field to write a simple script to add people to either a “local” or “non-local” membership list.

  • To be completely honest, you’ll likely have to hire a developer to write the plugin for you. What you’re asking is a very specific thing, which will be tough to find.

    Search the plugin database though.

    Wishlist seems to come so close to what I want, and the developer says this is coming “soon”. Are most of these plugins customizable? I would prefer finding one that is almost right and then asking a developer to add to it. Don’t want to try to reinvent the wheel, you know?

    I will keep looking.
