Need Help With Transferring WordPress From One Host to Another

Here is my situation. A friend wants me to create a WordPress site for them but doesn’t want to give me their hosting info to create it there. Is there a way that I can create the site on my own hosting and then zip it up and send it to him to install there? If so, what is the procedure?

Can I just use Duplicator to do all this for me? I just found the plugin.

You can. I prefer to do it manually, but Duplicator usually works.
