Need help with this plugin

Hey guys im new to www.remarpro.com ive been using it for almost a week now though im starting to find my way around everything. I downloaded the ultimate member plugin because i wanted to have a members area. The i set it up though it doesnt seem to be working properly. And i dont think thats it has anything to do with the plugin or that i did anything wrong. I think its because i need the user profiles themselves. But what kind of plugins would i need to have user profiles. You know how like if you login to facebook or twitter you have your own profile and you can see others profiles. Thats what i wanted to put on my website. Im creating a gaming website but i wanted people to be able to have their own profiles and have a section for members only. I can probably find it myself but i dont exactly know what it is that its called is it called like a social media plugin.

You do not need an external plugin. You need to create a registration, login, and profile form for your users to start.
1. Under the Ultimate Member tab in your WordPress Dashboard, select “Forms” and begin creating a form for registration, login, and profile.
2. Once each form is created, take note of their shortcodes.
3. Create a page for each form you just made (if those pages do not already exist) and paste your shortcodes in their respective pages.
4. Next, go to your Ultimate Member settings. Under the “General” tab, make sure your pages match (ie. User Pages = [YourUserPage]; Register Page = [YourRegistrationPage]; etc.)
5. Add the links to your Login and Registration page to your sites Main Menu or Top bar.
Sidenote: If you want to add social media login to your site, you will have to either buy Ultimate Members Social Login plugin or find an alternative somewhere else.
