Need help with the plugin wpSEO

Hi,

I am having a problem understanding something with the wpSEO plugin. This plugin automatically generates meta-keywords, and also title tags for each page. My problem is with the tags it generates on the homepage:

-Meta-description is generated from the Post Excerpt. Unfortunately, the homepage’s meta-description is based on the Post Excerpt from the most recent post… not always a very descriptive or accurate description of the blog as a whole.

-Meta-Keywords are (sort-of) randomly generated based on the fact that the words are nouns and they are on the page. I’d like to hand-code these for the homepage.

Can anyone pass along some PHP I could hand-code into the header that says something like…

“If this page is the homepage, use meta-description: blah blah blah and NOT the wpSEO auto genreated stuff.”

and

“If this page is the homepage, use these keywords: blah blah blah, and not the wpSEO auto generated stuff.”

If anyone can help me with this, I would thank them for ever.
