Need help with the Next and Previous Post Block

    Hi, I am just experimenting around with WordPress, I’m a complete beginner and had only started to play around 2 hours ago and I noticed that the next and previous post block is not showing up on the website even though it is there in the website editor.

    I have made around 3 post to see whether it will show up or not, but to no avail it seems like it is not the issue.

    I wonder if it is just not supported for the homepage? if not is there any other way so in my homepage I can juggle between one to another post titles? Thank you ??

    • please share the URLs of the 3 published POSTS.
    • generally, previous and next post blocks are used for the single post display area.
    • which page do you have set for display of your posts? SETTINGS>READING
    • which page do you have set for display of home page? SETTINGS>READING

    I had installed a plugin for next and previous arrow and it worked when viewing the post url, though on the plugin setting it has “Show on homepage” on but it’s not showing on my homepage at all

    on my settings > reading there’s not much options that I can see somehow, there’s only “Blog pages show at most”, “Syndication feeds show the most recent”, “For each post in a feed, include”, and “Search engine visibility”

    Which plugin are you using to add the ‘next’ and ‘previous’ arrow for your homepage? You might want to reach out to their support forums for further assistance, as they’d be the best to help you out for their specific plugin settings.

    You can use a website such as snipboard.io to add some screenshots and images and share more information here.

    I think the previous reply was asking for the ‘your homepage displays’ options for your homepage as seen below.

    I indeed don’t see the previous and next arrow on your homepage but that plugin you mentioned would be the best resource to help you in order to add it to your homepage.
