Need help with shareholders' list (database?)

  • To the many WP experts,

    I am a beginner with WordPress and I have heard such wonderful things about it. I am trying to build a login area where my shareholders can sign up for an account and can retrieve their shareholder statements either by download or print as .pdf. How do I even start with this? Thank you so much.

  • This sort of functionality is certainly fairly straightforward when you have the bits and pieces – but it might take a while as an absolute beginner to get there. You could do worse than watch a series of YouTube videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HJ_WfNYWsw

    Someone with a bit of experience in this area could fairly quickly have you set up but doing it yourself will involve an “interesting” learning process.

    What I could really use is something like an online credit card statement. All registered users will have his or her own account where they can view their statement, in my case, shareholder statement, and download them as .pdf. It does not sound that difficult in my head but I know it is not easy to say the least. I am all in for learning but I just want to have it done correctly in the end. Thanks for the advice.
