Need help with Mystique Theme

  • I just installed the Mystique Theme for a website that i am setting up for: https://www.warcanoes.com.

    I am clueless when it comes to CSS but I need help with the following:

    – How can I change the navigation menu in the sidebar? Instead of just plain simple arrows and words, I like to create an image with photoshop and use it as the navigation menu?

    – How do I get rid of the gap between the header and the top navigation menu?

    Please be as detailed as possible as I have never worked with CSS before and have zero experience with it. Thanks.
