• I’m working off of another template and am trying to get it to work how i want. i have it set up at https://osterbrink.org/blog/index.php however, with the photo i want to use at the size i want to use it, i can not select anything in the top few lines of my post… i know if i change the size of the picture, i can fix it, but that defeats the look. anyway around this?

  • One way to do it would be to cut the image into pieces and use one in the background of the #content DIV and shove it up in the upper-right to line up with the image in the H1.

good idea… what do you think of the design so far? suggestions?

after thinking about this a bit, it won’t work. the tables are set to 80% so in my thinking, the images won’t line up unless the screen resolution is perfect…. any other ideas?

If you use absolute positioning on your “content” div, you could change the z-index of the “post” class (not the entire content div!) to be higher than that of the image. That would be a hassle though, and might break other stuff.

hmm, that just confused me, i think i’ll just leave the top two lines of text in each post unselectable or clickable… thanks though.
