    Need help with header error:
    Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Unknown modifier ‘F’ in /hermes/web04/b2163/blu.krhalmekangas/rareiron.com-redirect/wp-includes/classes.php on line 210

    Originally entire site was down and ONLY this error line appeared 10 times then a line at the head about the header file. Tried to reinstall 2.9.1 which did not fix. Somehow most of the site is now back up, but the header error line still appearing many times. Please see issue at https://www.rareiron.com Any help on how to fix is GREATLY appreciated!

    Ok. I changed back the plugins folder via FTP to original name. I also changed the permalinks structure to the default, and the header error lines are all now gone. THANK YOU! Most of the main nav is missing, however, but maybe that is the SQL / wp_options table / css issue… and I need some other help there, but think I am now close. thanks e-sushi, you rock.

    Oh, and don’t forget to tag this post as “resolved” if you think it is. ??

    I am manually adding back the categories that disappeared (with the exception of About), but none of the posts that were originally listed in each cateogry are associated any longer. Is there a way to retrieve those associations, or is it all manual to go back into the posts? I am not even sure if all the posts are still there. forgive me, I am not a WP developer by trade – it is a side hobby so I learn as I go.

    No, you don’t have to open each single post.

    There is a “quick edit” option in the post-listing page (look at that dropdown ontop of the list) which will allow you to bulk-edit and by doing so bulk-attach posts to a category. That’ll make it a bit easier on you…

    but I’m not going to dive into a flamewar with songdogtech now… simply since that won’t help you solve your problem. Neither will his “search the forums” comment really help you. So let’s just get back to business…

    hahaha….
