Need help with creating a directory stucture.
-
Hello Everyone,
I am developing a website for a news publisher and I need some guidance in creating a site structure. Let me tell you what the specifications are and what my unique problem with it is.
News is syndicated from 3 sources, lets call them
Source 1, source 2 and source 3.
About 5 internal writers then post these news articles on our own website.
None of these writers get the permission to view or edit other writers posts in the backend.
1 editor has the permission to access every writers articles and edit as he pleases.
Now comes the problem.
The website is supposed to show ONLY the names, logos and profile pages of the 3 syndication companies. The names of the 5 writers do not appear anywhere on the website.
However, at the back-end the writers need to have their individual logins, create and edit posts and the editor needs to view and edit every post.
We are working with the Newspaper theme with Tagdiv. and have also created the writers and syndication profiles as authors.
How do I make only the syndication companies to appear as authors and hide the writers profiles appearing as authors? Yet, keeping the backend system of each individual writer to have their own logins and the editor being able to edit the posts as well?
