I’m running a site on XAMPP and I followed the steps in the post titled “Live server to Localhost Migrate“. I had some difficulty locating everything but I thought I did it right, but now I am seeing the message

    > Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.

I shut down XAMPP and restarted it but the message is still there. Any idea why that is still showing or how to either bypass it or “undo” the upload and start over. FYI, I found the settings UI difficult to navigate so I may have either clicked something I should not have or clicked too soon.

I rebooted and it’s good, though I could not sign in. I went into phpmyadmin to see if I could locate my password and then I saw all my plugins. It worked and I had to use my previous username and password. That was super easy – love this plugin!

    Hello @kernix

When running a restore, WPvivid will temporarily set the site to maintenance mode. Once the restore is done, the maintenance mode will be automatically removed.

Please be aware that a restore process should not canceled once started, otherwise, the site may get broken because some data may not be restored yet.

So,?when perform a restore,??make sure to wait for the process to complete naturally, and?do not refresh or close the restore page until a successful or failed message appears.

In a migration process, by default, the users data of the destination site will be replaced with the users data of the source site, so after the migration, you should log in with users information of the source site.

    All the best,
