• Hi,

First of all, I must say this is a great plugin – just gives so much flexibility to webmasters.
I need a small help. My website: https://www.dealwithautism.com is using 2 popular themes:

    1. Home and Category Pages: Newspaper 6 from Themeforest
    2. Everything else: Avada from Themeforest

I have retained Avada as the main active theme for the website as all pages and posts use this theme.

In the Homepage, you will see a tabbed layout. For example

FOR PARENTS > General | Autism & ADHD Essentials | Symptoms, etc

While everything works fine, when I click on these tabs, the tab section doesnt load ( I believe its ajax).
However if I switch the main theme to Newspaper 6, it works fine. Could you help if a setting change in the plugin can help?

Ajax is currently somewhat problematic. Jon (the original author of the plugin) explained the problem, but I haven’t yet had a chance to get to know the code well enough to implement a solution. Here’s what might be going on:

To start, here is the problem: WordPress web sites where a single URL may actually invoke several URLs. We are all familiar with the Frames technology, where <frameset>, <frame> and <iframe> tags imbed another URL’s webpage into the middle of the current URL’s webpage. AJAX effectively does this dynamically and conditionally, say when the mouse hovers over a particular area of the webpage and suddenly the output from a completely different URL appears.

Imagine the poor confused user of Multiple Themes. He/she has defined the URL to use a different Theme, yet AJAX is loading all these other URLs that also need this Theme, but Multiple Themes is not defined to select this Theme for these dynamically accessed URLs.

Might be best for you to go back to one theme or consider switching themes.

    –David
