• Hi there!
I have a blog https://www.fantasticfoodworld.com/blog, we had some designers help us set it up, but I have now discovered that because it has a custome made headline and no title and tagline, the blog comes up in searches as having no title. If I so write the title and tagline it will just be written on top of the custome headline.
How can I make sure that I have a title and tagline for SEO purposes, but not showing on my frontpage? My theme is bluesky.

Oh, also realized that if I even put a title and tagline in, it still comes up as no title and no meta tag description in search engines. Anyone now what can help?

https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site:fantasticfoodworld.com/blog/ you’re referring to that correct?

All right, go to https://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ and install this plugin. After your plugin is activated you will be able to set your site description as well as meta tags such as titles.

Plugin also recommends to keep your header.php <title> as:

    <title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title>

    Cheers,
    Emil

    Hi Emil.

Thank you very much for your response. I am not too sure if it is the analysis tool I am using that is wrong but I’m still being told this, no title or meta tag description found. I used this link to check. Is it correct or is it giving me the wrong information?

Don’t worry about that site. You have the description in place:

<meta name='description' content='Food Community, Cooking Articles, Wine articles, Food Recipes, Fantastic Food World'/>
