Need help updating Water Play CSS theme from 1.2 to 1.5

All that js isn’t making reading the source easy either..

I do not know whether the validation has anything to do with it. ??

Podz: The link which you provided is dead. What do you mean remove that line? I did comment out that line when following the directions for upgrading 1.2 to 1.5 as provided through WordPress documentation.

Root: There are 133 errors. This is insane to edit…is there an easier way?

I have uploaded my index.php and style.css files for viewing so that others can help to debug. I have done some also on my own (see below).

As requested, I have removed the random perl/php generator code as well as the javascript. A lot of the weird things have gone. It looks much better but the sidebar and header pictures for the “Water Play” theme is missing. I do not know why.

:woot: I was able to fix up a lot of kinks including the images. But why does the validator say there are 75 errors when it appears correctly?

And also, my comments at https://www.gkumar.srirambala.com do not seem to work. I have unchecked anyone previously registered can comment and such. I want anybody to register. It seems a lot of people have had problems. What was the definite solution?

75 errors – there aren’t actually that many. Fix one and several will disappear.
