• Hello,

I am finishing up a site for my client. I am using Ocean WP as my theme as I know it plays very very well with my Elementor PRO page builder. I have been experiencing one small problem however.

When blog posts are loading, there is a very brief period in which white space for margins/sidebars appear before my Elementor content is fully loaded. My client was not too happy about how that feels for user experience.

As it currently stands, when blog posts are loaded the user will see about 0.5 second of this:
    https://prntscr.com/l03h2v

This is a lot better than what it used to be, which was this:

I was able to make that improvement by changing some Layout settings in the Customize tab. Specifically, I went to Customize -> General Options -> General Settings, maximized main container width, made content width 100%, and made sidebar with 0%.

As you can see the white space margins are still not gone. I was wondering what I should do to fix theme altogether?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Go to edit page > OceanWP settings > Main tab > select 100% full width layout. Let me know it works or not.

Hello Amit, thank you for this quick response. Please see the the following settings I have set for “Layout Style”, “Pages”, “Search Pages” in my OceanWP settings:
    https://prnt.sc/l06tkg
    https://prnt.sc/l06unm

You may be able to tell, that I am still having the issue with the white space margins during loading.

I thank you in advance for further suggestions!

    Hello,

Go to Customize > Blog > Single Post and select 100% full-width layout.

Go to Customize > Blog > Blog Entries and select 100% full-width layout.

Additionally, you can also set layout for individual page and post.

Edit Page/Post > OceanWP Settings (below the editor) > Main > Select layout.

Currently, you are using layout with right sidebar. Follow the above steps to resolve your issue.
