Need help to locate and restore BackWPup files

  • Tip:

    Make a backup using the same plugin;
    Make sure the filename is distinct / easy to recognise as todays backup.
    Check where it puts the backup.

    If you cannot find the backup you’re looking for in the same spot, check the extension of the backup you just made.
    In the explorer: do a search for all files with that extension.
    Chances are, you’ll find it.

    Hi Arro,

    open your backup job for editing and go to the last tab “To:[Folder,Dropbox,whatever]”
    There you’ll find the location (=path on your server or Dropbox folder or whatever) your backup is stored in.
