Need help, something weird with sidebars

Hi… I just updated Comicpress to the latest version and I’m a little lost. I managed most of the customisations I wanted without (too) mush angst, but I’ve got something funky up with my archive pages.

See how below the navigation there’s this strange notice that my left sidebar is empty? When the notice is not in the sidebar, and that sidebar’s not empty? How do I fix that?? I have no idea what caused it.

Also, a minor question, you know that white line that separates your comic post from your bog section in the content section of the frontpage? How do I get rid of that? I scanned the code in the editor for over an hour and couldn’t find it. ??
