Need help replacing allow_url_fopen with cURL in a plugin.

    but the solution doesn’t work for BDP Referral tracker Plugin, my symptoms are the same, I get the error:
    < !– Warning: Your PHP set-up does not allow URL fopen, you should allow it for the BDP Referral Tracker WordPress plugin –>

    Can someone advise where in the code I should place Cyphers excellent solution that worked well in the other thread?
    I’m using WP 2.0 and the latest plugin.

    I took a look at the BDP plugin, and while it does have that message, he appears to be using the wp_remote_fopen() function, which supports curl by default. So you can probably just ignore or remove that message and it’ll work anyway. Unless it doesn’t, of course. ??
