need help on styling of "custom" changes to wordpress commenting system
-
Hello:
I am working on some changes to the wordpress commenting system on test site (https://superwayne.com); what I am trying to do is the commenting “display” so it displays a custom “comment author” and a custom “avatar”; we are trying to do these without using the standard wordpress methods for either. this is being done for reasons I cannot go into right now. but anyways; for testing purposes the “comment author” has been set to the same number as the “comment id” and the picture is just a manual picture put in just to make sure I could put a picture in there. There are a lot of things different than normal commenting and some I will work on later; but please just focus on the following:
on the first post (coming soon) you will see some comments; the second set of comments with the tiger avatar are the custom ones; the first comment by “891gerard” seems to display relatively ok; but the reply after is not correct; the “comment author” and “date” is indented in further right than the comment content and I cannot figure out why. Can anyone help with this?
Thanks, Gerard
