Need Help Moving A Multi-Site

  • Hello,

    I had a website created for lead generation in my company and I feel like I have run into a roadblock. Hopefully someone can assist me in this great community!

    This is the website that was created. It was created and then I disagreed with some of the hosting terms so I decided to host it on my own godaddy site. Now when I transferred everything over for some reason everything got jumbled up and I have no idea why. I check SQL but I really have no more experience than a few 10-15 minute YouTube videos and a couple of forum posts could provide.

    This is the result of my transference. As you can see, not the best work. If someone could help guide me to the right direction it would very much be appreciated. What could cause something like this? I feel I took all the right steps. Thanks for your help in advance WordPressers!

    I feel that I did but I don’t know why it came out all jumbled up. What would normally cause something like this? I’m new to wordpress and just trying to get it running

    Did you move a whole Multisite Network or just one site?

    Do you have the SQL DB, unedited, somewhere?

    Im trying to move a whole multisite network im assuming as that is how the first site is made correct? it has links to all these different pages but I dont really know how to tell the difference.

    I do have the SQl unedited from the first website just in case and the first website I still have access to it so I can always just do another backup. I followed all the right steps.

    If I have to start over please include how I would reset my page to blank and I am unfamiliar with that as well. First dive into this kind of thing Thanks for all your help!

    Not exactly, which is why I asked.

    If you want to move the whole site then follow WPYogi’s links. If that doesn’t work, start over ?? You’ve got the SQL unedited, so drop the busted database on your server, reimport, and run the interconnect.it script again.
